our organization has enabled us to get the open heart surgery
that Mocha needs. She will have her surgery soon which means
that she has the best opportunity for leading a normal,
medication free life!
Every year, Res-Q-Pets is committed to saving and providing
care for homeless cats and small breed dogs. We greatly appreciate

Mocha is a Jack Russell/Boston Terrier puppy
with a serious heart condition. She has Patent Ductus Arteriosis:
an extra artery pumping blood to the heart. The condition has
caused her heart to become enlarged and she is now on several
medications. The good news is this condition can be corrected by
surgery. The bad news is the surgery will cost approximately
$4,000.00 not including the cost of follow-up examinations.
Without surgery her life expectancy is very poor as the excess
blood flow to the heart will cause severe heart damage. If Mocha
receives surgery as soon as possible, she’ll have the best
chance of living a normal, medication free life.
Mocha is a very sweet puppy and she deserves a chance for a
great life so we are seeking donations on her behalf.
